Malouf family behind $26m harbourfront sale

The first of the recent acquisitions by the Malouf family came through this week.

It was a $26m Double Bay harbourfront, bought from rag traders Jonathon and Jill Ind by Larissa Malouf, the wife of yacht broker Ian.

They have reputedly also bought the adjoining Castra Place harbourfront for $30 million plus from Leigh and Nick Pongrass, through Pillinger’s Brad Pillinger.

The Malouf’s $60 million purchase of the ANZ tower, Sydney CBD penthouse – bought from John and Marly Boyd – has yet to settle, ditto the $20 million spent on Snapperman Beach at Palm Beach.

Investors are coming back to the market

The talk is the acquisitions could be spread among their children, Jack, Max, Ed, Lara and Ellie.
